Soldiers Losing Custody of Children After Iraq Tour

Putting your life on the line in harm's way isn't enough to keep you from the horrible clutches of family court.

Please stay on top of your rights from the very beginning of trouble. AND, to be on the safe side, know your rights before trouble ever starts.

Soldiers losing their lives in Iraq – isn't that more then enough for our children to have to deal with? Thousands of our military are losing their lives at an alarming rate. Their children will live without them for the rest of their lives. Thousands of children will pay for the death of a parent everyday for the rest of their lives, so why are we punishing so many children that their parent lives through their tour of duty and makes it home...only to find they have lost or will lose custody or visitation with their chidlren.

Don't assume that your tour of duty or that of a family member is recognized as serving your country above and beyond the call of duty. You can lose your child(ren) because of your bravery. If you have stories of soldiers on the verge of losing child(ren) or have already lost them due to a tour of duty in our military...we would like to post your story.
