STATE CODES

The United States Code is the codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It is divided by broad subjects into 50 titles and published by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives. Since 1926, the United States Code has been published every six years. In between editions, annual cumulative supplements are published in order to present the most current information. Documents are available only as ASCII text files. You may start here to get information about codes in your state, http://www.gpoaccess.gov/uscode/index.html

We will post links from each and every state for the benefit of looking up state codes. Sometimes you have to just take the bull by the horns and search out the information you need. We have tried to help you do just that.

Our desire in obtaining the state code links is to give you the ability to look up any and all state codes for your own information. We hope it helps you and your case.

A judge once asked a young man, right before he took his kids for back support, "Why didn't you look it up on the internet?" Well, that young man takes the time to look it up now and his mother has built this organization and this site.

We can not give you legal advise, nor tell you how to handle any part of your case, but we hope the links to all state codes will put you on the right path to answering all your own questions.

Take time to study the codes.

We are in no way telling you to follow state code links and not retain an attorney, but we are saying you do need to know what the law says.

Once you pull up the codes for your state, kick back and grab a cup of coffee, you will need to pay close attention to everythig you read and make sure you understand.

We will be the first to tell you that sometimes understanding these codes is tough. Rest assured your attorney, the opposing attorney and the judge will all understand the code in their own way.

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT GIVES WHAT YOU GET...TRY GIVING WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE.
